so ato joins phidelt now?

by: Wth

Hearing from multiple people and even from ATOs even though they won’t admit it officially
Wonder how it would work out between those two somewhat different but similar fraternities

Smart for ATO because Phi Delt is historically strong at Texas.

Still ain't gonna happen. Nationals wouldn't allow a member of one fraternity to join another. Besides, aren't they a bunch of hazers from ACC?

Applies to all of them regardless of your letters.

Phi Delt and ATO have unofficially partnered with a lot of the guys who were ATO are going the ranks of ATO. For this year, Phi Delt is having 70 or 80ish guys who used to be ATOs pay dues/partner with them.

For girls, this means more bar tabs with better budgets, more guys at the Phi Delt/ATO parties and a more convenient tailgate area if they want to hang out with their ATO friends than before.

For guys, Phi Delt/ATO has another 80k they have coming in without expenses and will probably throw a killer Roundup set with more late nights.

What you are describing is a group of guys that pool their money for parties - no brotherhood, not a fraternity. Sad...

Is that legal???

I think It’s literally the same thing as charging guys from other fraternities to be able to come to parties. Don’t think they’ll be recognized by nationals, so essentially every event is a Phi Delt one but with ATOs

How could this actually work? Once you are initiated you can’t join another. So only uninitiated pledges from spring 208 would be eligible to join phi delt.
