dirty rushing
by: CuriousI know many of the sororities already have lists of who they’re looking at as far as PNMs go. I’ve been reached out to by a few, so I’m hoping that means positive things. However, if there is no one reaching out from the other houses, does this mean I should lower my expectations or just that they aren’t as into dirty rushing? Thanks!

Thank you! So the love lists aren’t guarantees, more just a leg up? And can you still get bids if you’re completely out of a sororities view but wow during open houses?

If you wow someone you can end up with a bid. Just keep an open mind. Not everyone going in will have connections. Honestly not many girls are going to get into big six without any connections but rest definitely take girls who don’t know people. Just be yourself. It will work out.

It seems crazy that they can have lists so set bc it seems like several chapters will want the same girls. Also, if they already have their lists why are they doing summer stuff?

I went to several events with several different sororities in the spring and summer. So does that mean I am on all of their lists? Did I get crossed off the lists where I couldn’t make an event?

Yes, my sorority has a love list. It's not WHO for sure they're taking it's like the outline of their ideal pnm. Some are girls who may not even be considering us. But just because you're not on the love llist doesn't mean you won't wow them during recruitment. The love list in our case kind of started with girls who were in major schools and then they narrowed it. So I wasn't even considered because I didn't come from Highland park. Doesn't mean they didn't want me when they met me, it's just that they have to start somewhere with building the love list so they start with where people are from (which I don't really agree with but oh well)

I'm sure this is true, but I'm also in a house not listed which I know is considered "lower tier" but I'm honestly happy here and we do dirty rush. We have a love list that is compiled based off of usually the city they grew up in and we contact those girls. But I wasn't dirty rushed and I'm perfectly happy here. I honestly don't lie dirty rushing anyways.
