I’ve heard most sororities don’t even read your recs. Is this true and if they do read them, how much do they really matter?

a good rec pretty much means nothing, and little sets good recs apart from one another. bad recs, however, will get you cut.

Or you have a bad reputation and the alums hear about it. They literally write that they do not recommend you
