future of ato?

So I heard half of the former atos are preparing a merge.
Im not totally sure but I heard ato had a meeting/party with pikapp or phidelt, one of them two, last week.
I wonder how the group dynamics will work if you merge two mid tier fraternities

Why are Pi kapp and Phi Delt constantly making posts referring to themselves as mid tier? Associating yourselves with ATO is not going to make your chapter better.

pi kapp and phi delt need to quit trying to pull themselves up. just accept the bottom tier placement.

I was an ATO and I can tell you that a lot of the guys that I rushed with and pledged were between ATO and Phi Delt and basically half of us went ATO and the other half went Phi Delt

Makes sense if the former ato chapter merged with another fraternity. Happens all the time at other schools and has happened before at UT (first time ato was kicked off in the 80s they merged with kappa sig who weren’t doing so well at the time)
