how to get in to the sorority i want?
by: HelpWhat do I need to do to get into the sorority that I want? Do I just need to be pretty, personable, and have a letter of recommendation? Are connections essential? What even COUNTS as a connection? Do things like social media and grades/resume come into play? HELP!

If you're going into rush set on getting a bid to one particular house, there's about a 99% chance you'll end up dropping out whenever they cut you. If it's a Big 6 house and you aren't a legacy, don't have stellar recs, and don't have any friends in the house to pull for you (like 5+ friends who are actives and LOOOVE you), you don't have a very good chance of getting a bus.
Texas rush is competitive.
Every house has great girls.
PNMs who aren't open to all houses are the most likely to end up bidless.
