by: BeejIm from out of state and don't really know anything about the frats at UT. Im on the list for Pi kapp, beta, pike, and phi delt so far. Any info about these frats is appreciated.

Especially as OOS. I'd aim for Delt, Sigma Chi, KA, which are the good upper middle tiers. If you're really feeling ambitious, try for Kappa Sig, Sig Ep. You could shoot for Fiji or SAE, but you'd have to have some kind of good connection or friend for those. With all of these, you'll get a better experience, better connections

Honestly, just go out to rush events for the summer / start of the school year. If you're OOS chances are that by the time you get to school most top tiers will have the vast majority of their rushing done, but all those middleish tier fraternities you listed will still be really interested. Just go visit them, and see which one you like the most, if the rush captains are cool, etc. Every fraternity you listed has parties and tons of events. Phi Delt / Pike are your best options imo but you'll have a blast at any of those you pick man - honestly.

nice try kappa sig. lol ksig is not better than sigma chi or KA hahah. literally just look at any kappa sig compared to any sigma chi or KA
