i preffed theta, axo pi phi and a few others 2nd round. I was a legacy to theta but got cut 2nd round. I liked pi phi but I could tell they were hot-boxing certain girls, and I didn't feel the trust-factor because they were so obvious towards some girls. I ended up axo and it's great.

What is the Pi Phi dance party skit? I've heard from several people that it"s terrible and rude but no one ever goes into detail.

It's not so much the skit itself as the intent behind it. They just clap and chant and jump around like tards for a few minutes so they don't have to talk to anybody. The implication is they already know who they want and can't be bothered to get to know any of the PNMs.

What round is the Pi Phi dance party? Sounds kind of intimidating but I hope I get to see it.

The dance party must work because PBP is always considered the top house at UT. UT rushees really like the idea of how exclusive the sororities claim to be so why wouldn't PBP keep up that perception?

Part of the appeal of rush at UT is that everyone hopes to get into a sorority that they feel is too good for them. They're so GRATEFUL for the opportunity to be invited to the special sisterhood. Pi Phi doesn't pretend to be otherwise. The others just are more subtle about it. You shouldn't hate them for being who they are.

I felt relieved I didn't have to have a fake conversation there like I did at other houses. All the good houses already have their lists made up and it's a huge snore to have to fake nice and interested with them if you aren't. Nothing you say will make a difference if they've decided they don't want you so why not dance?

At least they're honest about not being interested in most PNMs unlike the others who smile and lead everyone on but can't wait for them to leave.
