advice on rush

im interested in rushing one of the top frats this summer but i do not have any connections into it, i am a legacy but not a direct legacy and i do come from a good high school and i have connections into other frats that i will be rushing but how could i go about contacting the frat where i do not know anyone in the fraternity? my friend who is in a different top fraternity said he'd introduce me to a few people but would that be awkward?

not at all - just go to as many fraternities regardless of tier. I joined a top tier fraternity by being introduced via other friends.

Don't worry about it. Just take advantage of the fact that you know someone there and get to know people within the frat
