is it difficult to get into parties?

I’m a GDI girl and I was wondering if it was difficult to get into parties. I had so much fun at roundup. Do I need to be on any “lists” or know an active?

Depends on the party but usually know. It’s helpful to know actives anyway though because you’ll have much more fun at the parties.

you could just rush a sorority and truly be a part of greek life, instead of getting into parties off of other peoples dues

Just rush ffs you'll probably get in somewhere. In state tuition is super reasonable, you can probably shoulder dues. If not, work for them like plenty of people do

You'll feel uncomfortable at most parties bc girls can tell if you're a gdi or not most of the time. Guys probably won't give you the time of day bc they hangout with all of the girls they know at the parties but no, you usually don't need to know anyone but it definitely helps. But you should consider rushing bc you will find the fraternity that you like and then you won't even have to worry about that!!!
