roundup a "who do you know here" or pay at the door?

I was planning on rushing next semester but wanted to attend roundup. I was wondering if you had the wristband and came to the door as a guy what would happen. Should I contact the fraternity before?

Also I was planning on bringing girls, do they even have to bother to buy a wristband?

If you aren’t on the list before, you won’t get in. If you aren’t over 18, you won’t get in. The girls you’re with might, depends on capacity but some parties they’ll have to pick up bands before
