How can PiPhi be the best when their pledge classhad the worst grades(except for SDT) Fall 2017.
I know they have $ but academics have to count for something.
And this isn't an example of of few one hundredths of a point. Pi Phi was way down.

They don't get a choice on the girls they take. When lots and lots of money interfere, then they are forced to take whatever their legacies produce. Money doesn't always create a socially gorgeous girl with brains.

I wouldn't call a chapter average of a 3.417 too shabby. DG was the highest with a 3.56 I believe.

Pledge class was around 3.2 and below AZD , that's pretty crappy.

a xi d also has over 50% girls that are pre-professional, meaning they’re eaither pre med, pre law, pre dent etc

Chi o was number three in GPA for the entire chapter and was the highest of the top sororities! For Highest grades for PC16 it was chi o also!

I didn't say every girl in PKT is not so cute/smart/personality-just more prevalent because they want girls with money and zip code. There are great girls in ALL the chapters. A lot of the sorority stuff at UT is very superficial!

Everyone keeps saying that PKT want kids with money and maybe that is right. However, it seems to me that really they just take girls they know from school/camp and most of those girls happen to be wealthy. I don't believe they actually go look at zip codes etc like rumors say. They also do end up taking a few legacies that big alum groups push so maybe that is why everyone insists it is all about money? But.....I know a girl who was a fourth generation UT PKT legacy who I bet some alums forced in. The girl got in without knowing anyone and from a small town. No connections and slightly awkward. However, she is a nice girl and her family is pretty normal not wealthy. My point is maybe it is legacy status not money that gets some of those girls in....
