I didn't mention Northeast, but you are correct. True about Dartmouth...don't know about Yale, but Harvard, Brown, and others not big on Greek. Other social clubs outrank and some have no formally recognized Greek organizations. I was just pointing out that Greek isn't just big in the South, it is big in many areas. Just different groups are popular. DG and Aphi are HUGE in many of the same areas, as well as Gamma Phi and even AGD and SK. You just can't stereotype sororities and fraternities by what we see here.

The SEC is the best Greek conference, I will admit, but the ACC and Big 12 are very solid (mostly) Southern ones too. Out of the Big 10 I'd say Indiana is where it's at though.
