by: UTTired of all the talk about the big six. I personally like the Core Four...DG, AXO, ADPi, and APhi. These girls are smart, involved and kind.. they make the Greeks look good and are the heart of the Greek system.

I love this! This is the group of strong (nationally) sororities! They have positioned themselves to only get stronger! Don;t kid yourselves PNM's UT has one of if not the hardest most competative recruitements in the country. This group is NOt threatened by the other sororities...it is the other way around. Oh SRD and HH are the same amount of money give or take. But agreed SRD is the bomb! Just look at the two it doesnt take a rocket scientist to tell you which is better.

SRD is nicer and I am trying to decide where to stay.
It seems that the girls in Hardin become really good friends since it is so small. Can someone tell me if that happens in SRD too? I would also love to hear from someone who has stayed in each why thy liked it. Please don't be so hateful, just honest. Obviously SRD is nicer but also obviously lots of girls choose Hardin anyway. Just wondered why.

First, if you are going to UT this fall, you would have already had to have signed your contract for SRD. There is no way they a room left. With that said, SRD is MUCH nicer. I have friends at Hardin and have hung out there but the reality is SRD is hands down above Hardin in about every category. The food is wonderful, the staff is excellent and each hall gets pretty close. You will have an odd girl that keeps to herself but that is not the norm. The public areas are really nice for studying with guys and the pool and fitness center can't be beat.

i CHOSE A "CORE FOUR" SORORITY....HAD NO IDEA THEY WERE LABELED THIS AT THE TIME BUT FOR THE POSTER WHO SAID NOBODY WOULD DO THAT YOU COULD NOT BE MORE WRONG. i WAS A LEGACY TO THETA AND KAPPA . i COULD NOT BE HAPPIER...DO NOT KID YOURSELVES PNM'S .....TO GET A BID AT UT IS TOUGH ENOUGH! aLL THE HOUSES ARE COMPETITIVE! IT WILL BE YOUR UNDOING IF YOU COME IN THINKING YOU ONLY WANT A HOUSE BECAUSE YOU HEARD ONLY CERTAIN ONES ARE "THE GOOD" ONES. iF ANY SORORITY IN CORE FOUR FINDS THIS OUT YOU ARE PROBABLY GOING TO GET RELEASED FROM THEM. QUOTA IS ALWAYS MADE BY THEM SO DONT THINK YOU HAVE YOUR CHOICE IN REALITY IT IS THE OTHER WAY AROUND. THIS SHOULD REALLY BE EMPHASIZED MORE AT RECRUITMENT TIME. IF YOU GET A BID CONSIDER YOURSELF LUCKY. THIS IS THE MINDSET THAT WOULD HELP ELIMINATE DRAMA DURING THIS WEEK.

It's not even easy to get a bid to AZD so be glad you get ANYTHING at UT.
That being said, I agree that X-D-Z and Core 4 are the strongest and most respected
