why/who have targets on their backs
by: TargetThere is so much bickering on these website. I would like to know why all these girls hate each other and is it that way when you actually get on campus? Why do specific groups seem to always have a target on their backs?

Big 6 Girls hate all other houses because they think they all want to be them (not true...most houses are proud of who they are and are not striving to be anything but themselves)
Other 8 houses hate the Big 6 because they behave like they are the only houses on west campus that matter (not true....every house has strong girls and lots to offer)
It really is very non panhellenic of everyone who bickers.

I dont' think anyone is blaming anyone. The bottom line is, to each other's faces people are nice and then they come here and are petty. It's a shame really. I find the word "lording" and interesting choice. Written by a big sixer to let the village people know they feel superior. Hence why there is such a problem.

Saying someone is lording an old reputation over other people is not a term of endearment, a big 6 girl did not write that.

you can't blame everyone in the big 6 for it, there are nice girls in those chapters too, and it's not as if there aren't girls in middle tier houses who tear down the ones ranked above and below them. There are good members in every chapter along with not so good ones, and it makes sense that people don't love the PKT or big 6 lording their status, but when it comes down to it there are always people who try to draw lines and people will try to say there are 8 or 10 sororities that matter so they can cut out the ones ranked lower, so it's not exclusively a problem of the "top" groups.
