round up
by: Ut22Is it true that I am not supposed to go to round up as a girl who might be rushing next year, even if I am going with a group of older UT students not involved in Greek life? Also is it weird to stay with my friend that’s not in Greek life if I want to come to Studio 54? I don’t know any freshman in Hardin, SRD, or Calloway well enough to ask them if I could come stay w them

Yeah don't go to Round up, and yes it's fine to go to the other rush events with people who aren't involved in greek life, but the whole point of going to those parties is to go with people who are involved so you can start making connections. If you go with people who aren't involved then you are defeating the purpose of going for a rush event.

what if i don’t know any sorority girls well enough to ask if I can stay/ go with them? does that mean i’m screwed for rush

oh good to know! so I can go to round up with some other UT friends outside of Greek life and I won’t get black balled or anything like that? also do I need to be invited to go to those parties with sororities? like is It weird to go with friends not in Greek life?
