importance of gpa during recruitment?
by: AbcdHow important is PNM’s GPA during recruitment? I have a decent GPA, but it’s definitely not at 4.0. Will I be cut by a lot of chapters right off the bat because of this? If not, what do chapters usually use as their basis for making large cuts after the first round?

Everyone who gets into UT as a Freshman has good grades so it’s not a huge factor as a Freshman. If you’re a Soph or transfer, definitely above a 3.3 to be safe.
Who you know, whether you can fit into the “lifestyle,” and looks are the largest factors that go into cutting first rounds.
