rush discriminaiton

I have been on the fence about rushing and I was wondering if I had a chance to get in a sorority if I am black. I grew up in a mostly white neighborhood and school. I just want to know if it would be a waste of time to even try.

to be honest, you need to be well off, attractive, polished and confident enough to be surrounded by rich, white kids. if you fit that description, you will be fine. many houses have black students but they def fit the description above. from your post, sounds like it will work out for you, so rush.
