where to most of these girls end up?

Listen, most girls going through recruitment have parents of means or they would not be going through recruitment in the first place. Most first year PNMs shell out $5k or more the first year in dues, t-shirts, parities, etc. So with that said, you will find "wealthy" girls in all chapters. Find a house you like and hope they chose you. There are 8-10 strong chapters at UT. That's all I'll say about that.

Don't worry about the "wealthy girls" I am in PKT and I don't like it. I was groomed to be a PKT from birth and the girls I associate with are as shallow as my mother. TRUST yourself, find yourself a group of women you want to be with. Say no to the pressure your parents put on you. Be your own person. People come here and slam groups they know nothing about. You might be a perfect PKT and find your grove. But for me I see the letters of other and envy what they have. True friendship, sisterhood, etc. TRUST YOURSELF.

For girls that don't know anyone during the rush process, don't have the society connections, etc, there are many top quality houses at UT that will evaluate your application based on YOU and YOUR accomplishments. I disagree with the post above me, I believe that Tri-Delt, certainly Chi-O and Zeta all formulate a speculative list prior to rush even beginning so if you are not on their radar, your chances are slim. DG and AXO more than like have lists pre-made too, their return numbers are high and they go after top girls but do give all girls a chance and that list will shift during recruitment based on what happens at the parties. They typically have strong pledge classes and do really well during the recruitment process. ADPi, APhi, KD do a great job of targeting girls they want but they leave a huge amount of space for girls that shine during the process. They are also the houses that girls may "cut" but because the others have released them only have these houses as a choice, but because they are good houses, the PNMs come around and realize that strong sisterhoods can be found here. SDT has never been through a formal recruitment and this will be their first so it is hard to say how this will work out. They did a great job of COB in the fall and have a diverse group of girls.

no "above is wrong" you my dear, are wrong. When you state "Pi Phi, TriDelt, Kappa and Zeta followed, that is 100% incorrect information. Do your homework. There is a houses that have better return numbers that you didn't list. Like I have said 100 times. Don't let this site warp the mind of the PNM. There is a great deal of false information here and many a PNM is shocked to be released from houses they deem "mid-tier" Those houses are very competitive and they will release you in a heart beat if you are not right for them. And many PNMs who are true to who they are can pledge where they feel comfortable despite the ridiculous labels that are on display here. Like I read somewhere, 99% of girls that accept bids at UT are happy. That is a testament to the strength of the system.
