How do you become a cowboy and spurs sweetheart?

Also is being a sweetheart in one better than the other?

They have sweetheart chairs that pick girls from different sororities. Each sorority gets at least one girl with the exception of adpi, axid, and kd. They reach out to you though.

No difference in prestige

i don't get the benefit in being a sweetheart for them especially if they are just based on looks rather than relationship to the org

It’s not based on looks. It’s based on your reputation mostly — if you’re well liked and fun and are close with older girls who are sweethearts or know the chairs, you have better shot of being picked

AXiD is practically (whether officially or not) never going to have a cowboy/spur sweetheart, its a reputation kill for the Cowboys/Spurs. They rarely are sweethearts for fraternities. Its based on reputation, something they don't really have.
