ato getting kicked off?

Heard a girl reported multiple hazing incidents on ATO, including a pledge getting burns from concrete mix. One of the actives involved just got kicked out UT for it.
UT and their nationals are apparently investigating multiple hazing claims now. ATO's winter formal was canceled because of the investigation.
Not looking good for them

They can definitely get kicked off and banned from rush, official events, etc.

I don’t know much about the specifics of this, and this sounds pretty detailed. What I will say, is that greek life is under fire for a myriad of reasons all over the country but particularly in the South. From everything above, (obviously more will surface it doesn’t sound like this is proven) this sounds like a classic case of one individual action out in a way that isn’t representative of a whole chapter. Hazing is a felony, and it makes sense that ATO and UT would remove someone who would do something this irresponsible; but from my experiences with ATO, this really seems like something one person is responsible for and there’s times whole chapters are lost anyways, and times they just move forward without a certain member or group of members. I’m curious to see how it plays out, but personally I think they’ll be okay and if it were truly terrible this would be national news by now.

ATO definitely does NOT have the hardest pledgeship at UT. SAE, Fiji, ZBT, KSig, and Delt definitely have it harder
