Delt is top at UT? I'm a girl and wouldn't necessarily agree, they're not bad, I just didn't think I'd see them on this list

correct! I attend UT but am from Nacogdoches. I have quite a few friends involved in SFA Greek life.Most of the people in the top 3 or 4 fraternities and in the top 2 or 3 sororities would easily find a home at UT! They do party hard and represent the Greek life well.

I go to UT and one of my best friends goes to SFA. So I drove to SFA for his 21st birthday and partied with him and his fraternity brothers. They actually party pretty hard and look like true frat guys. They just seem like guys that couldnt get in to UT but still want to join a good greek school that isnt too big. Also I like how that school is about 65% women. That it is all.

In the State: FIJI, Phi Delt, SAE
Phi delt is losing a bIt of its overall luster no thanks to their national's dry policy (see decline of UT phi delt and SMU phi delt--both used to #1 until recent times).
SAE can arguably take 2nd place over Phi delt, but FIJI is still overall the best in terms of age and Statewide reputation--yes you've got the anomaies like the tcu chapter.

SAE overtook Phi Delt a while ago, and now Phi Delt is struggling to hang on to the top 3 position. Their inability to come back as strong at UT probably was partially to do with dry housing, but getting kicked off was the biggest hit (ATO was also top tier at UT back in the 80s). Phi Delt is still probably top house at Tech and top 2 or 3 at TCU, but they're on the edge of suspension at SMU. 20 years ago Phi Delt was arguably better than Fiji in Texas, but now they're in danger of being overtaken by Kappa Sig and Sig Ep who've been on the rise in Texas for a while. It's also worth noting that KA was probably the fourth or fifth best in the state, but have fallen as much if not more than Phi Delt here, partially due to bad national decisions as well.

sigma chi is getting to be pretty good across the board also = good chapters at SMU, TCU, SFA, UT. Probably not quite there yet with FIJI and SAE but on the upswing.

their nationals aren't helping either, they've been a catalyst for killing their traditions and pulling charters of good chapters like Omicron.

In the Southland, but SAE still has them beat not only in the Southland but in the rest of the nation where they aren't even represented.
KA's overall rep is Southern, but with a lowerclass redneck impression. SAE iis
Southern aristocracy and has more genuine Southern tradition (I.e., antebellum Derp South) and history than KA (I.e. founded during reconstruction, and uses fantasies like Gen Lee and Gone with the Wind fantasy to make itself more attractive).
