pledging questions

I'm a freshman thinking about doing spring rush. My main question is about pledging and hazing, is hazing still really an issue at UT? Haven't heard anything bad about the chapters here but with everything in the news it makes me wonder. I want brothers but I'm not trying to die either

If you did a high school sport, it’s nothing you can’t handle. Most chapters don’t force drinking, they aren’t gonna beat you, it’s just a big time commitment and can be mental draining
