what to expect?

I'm a bit clueless as to what to expect from sorority recruitment here. Are there really multiple chapters that won't consider me because of where I went to high school or the camps I didn't attend? What chapters can a relatively average girl expect to have any real chance with? What should I expect from the rush process here overall?

It’s hard to get a “top tier” sorority if you don’t have the connection. Tradition is huuuuge here, it’s based more on tradition than looks (although looks is still a big factor though).

There’s a lot of girls who have the “look” of Big 6 yet still end up going ADPi or DG just because they didn’t have the connection.
