meeting

I am planning to go through recruitment at UT next year. Should I go visit some of my friends in sororities? Is there a weekend lots of seniors go? Also, is it weird to ask girls if I can visit them? I don't think they will mind but most of them are from camp not like best friends from school where I text them all the time.
