question about greek life

Lots of my friends pledged fraternities this last semester. Seems like a lot of stuff at UT is controlled by greek life. I guess I am wondering if it's possible to have a good social life without greek life?

no you definitely will not have any friends if you're not greek. your life will suck and you will die

Find cool independents to hang with. Not hard. Join a sport or something

Greek life is definitely what you want to do, especially if you have friends doing it, you're going to feel left out. There are lots of cool people at UT who aren't in Greek life, but it can be pretty hard to find them and meet them in person
