Hardin is about 90% sorority girls and 10% not. Most of the girls who live here are in top or upper middle sororities. Saying you live here definitely helps during rush. l lived here freshman year and loved the atmosphere, everyone was super close. They also do your laundry & clean your room. The food isn’t that great but isn’t horrible. They’re pretty strict on alcohol and boys though. They will fine you for alcohol (if they find it) & boys can’t go past the main lobby. SRD is more diverse and is about 60/70% sorority girls. They are famous for their good food. Their rooms are pretty small which is what I didn’t like, but all the girls I know that live there seem to love it. SRD is more dormish and Hardin feels like you live at home so it depends on your preference. SRD is also all girls, but boys can stay until 10. Living with all girls definitely helps make a lot of friends in other sororities, but If you want more of an apartment feel, go callaway. The rooms are way more spacious and you can have boys & alcohol. Lots of my friends lived there and It was so nice to be able to have pregames in their living room area. You won’t get as close with other people that also live there, as you would in Hardin or SRD, but you’ll probably make some guy friends too. Hope this helps!!
