All the girls that ended up here wanted to be PKT. Tridelt, ZTA and Chi O get the left overs with maybe a few legacies thrown in..and the rest of the girls that wanted a top 6 and didn't get it dropped out. They are now bitter GDI's that come on here and make nasty comments about the top 6

These are the strong rushees that didn't know who the big six were till they came here and didn't really like them when they met them...nothing wrong with big 6, just not their type. They love their group and don't understand what all the fuss is about with the big 6

Your average girl next door--maybe grades are perfect or not a lot of experience in leadership positions-- but still great, beautiful girls looking for a sisterhood

I really doubt that all or even most of the girls who go ChiO, Tri Delt and Zeta just do so because they didn't make PKT. I think a lot just want to be in a top sorority without so much pretension and focus on legacies. Also, I don't think every girl who wants to go Big 6 drops out when they get cut by them. Plenty of people in the lower sororities were also plenty aware of the Big 6 going in. The preparation for rush is so extensive that anyone who gets in a sorority probably has some idea about that going in.

Once again you only wish!! You are not any better BUT different! Nothing wrong with that. It is just the way you have been brought up. You might be surprised that lots of young ladies, rich, poor, middle, just are not that PKT mold. Their values and morals that they were brought up with doesn't fit the PKT. They are not jealous at all. And we all didn't quit, give up, and go home to cry during rush. Why can't you get the fact that most of us don't want to be you any more then you want us to be you. It is really okay for you to be you, and us to be us. Your arrogance that EVERYONE in the world wants to be you is over kill on your part.

who goes through rush, even the ones who know the score have any interest in being PKT, in fact I know plenty who basically wrote them off because of their reputation for being so uninterested in most rushees.

it's more complicated than that. who-knows-who, LEGACY, connections and camp and all of that? yeah, that's a pkt mold. touch?. if it were really about some loftier mold of long-held generational values, only a TINY fraction of the whole pnm pool would have even made the cut. and you know what? many girls in that fraction didn't and are doing fine. since the other kind of mold is hard for anyone to gauge unless they know pnms really well, pkt is gonna be a more diverse group than people think. and why? not only because they pledge friends or girls they think are plain nice, but exactly because some superficial things like family money and/or high school connections are confused with "values," rather than the true meaning of an upbringing. last time i checked, money itself and a certain high school never bought anyone culture, sophistication, or true class. those privileges are few and far between.

most girls know about PKT going in, they're just not interested in being part of it....which is why PKT doesn't always make quota and the "lower" groups always do
