Shoutout to two UT Greeks competing in Miss America this weekend, Miss Texas Margana Wood (Zeta) and Miss SC Suzi Roberts (joined DG here but graduated from USC).

Most of them were set up with tough questions and had 10 seconds to think. They asked her a political answer so she kinda had to give a political answer. A five second on the spot answer is not the place for nuance, for heaven's sake. My favorite was Miss Louisiana saying rompers were overrated. LOL Let go of your bitter.

Current Miss Texas is very very fake. She promotes Anti-Bullying and acts like she supports PC culture and everyone belonging, but plays classic Mean Girl games. In the pageant community, very few people support her (opposed to Miss Texas 2016 who was pretty much universally adored).
Her answer at the pageant was very calculated to be "news worthy" and "sensational" and she got her 15 seconds of fame.
