a few of the more popular ones are sweethearts, spirits, darlins, lassos
sweethearts: knock off sorority, mix with wranglers and tejas
spirits: smarter girls, mix with tejas and blazers
darlins: average, mix with spikes
lassos: average, mix with wranglers and spikes

Orange jackets is a cut above but its really more of a service organization.

Girls in spirit groups are only in spirit groups and not greek. Orange jackets might be the only exception

That's not true of the more prestigious spirit groups. It is true of the basic spirit groups which are full of girls who couldn't get a bid or are too poor for sororities.

There are a lot of good spirit groups to join and yes there are girls in spirit groups who are also Greek ! Just avoid Angels heard they do hard core cocaine

Texas Ladies is pretty good. I've heard good things about them.

Dont know about a few years ago but darlins is definitely one of the top spirit orgs. Lassos are up there and so are Sweethearts. Spirits fell off. lone stars and diamonds are good too.
