AZD is trying- give them credit. I am sure the women in that sorority enjoy all that Ut has to offer, and have a great sisterhood.

Truth be told, variety is the spice of life. There are 26 different NPC sororities for a reason, and Texas is fortunate enough to host 14 of them. Alpha Xi Delta wants to remain a member of this campus and they are not backing away from recruiting additional COB members.

and if they kept those girls that got released everyone would call them the "leftover" group and "desperate". They cant win. Damned if they do, damned if they don't.

Maybe if everyone was a little nicer and showed a little southern class, that might make a difference. The cattiness is really embarrassing. It doesn't affect you or your house anyway. Plus it's better for them to take girls they want and who want to be there than just taking girls for the sake of numbers.

To ask others to be nice and have class when some AXD just bashed another sorority earlier on the thread is hypocritical. They should start with themselves.

Why would ADPi take so many? What's the point of quota when the numbers over quota vary so widely?

It's called Quota Additions. If girls maximize their options are pref, they're guaranteed a bid to one of the houses they wrote down. Girls who are not high enough on the bid list at any of their pref houses end up as quota additions. The RFM formula places them, either with their first choice or with the smaller house, depending on the campus.

ADPi had a big class last year as well.
Most of the SEC schools have a chapter like this, at Alabama one chapter got 195 new members, can't remember which one.
Usually the big recruiting chapters are lower tier but not completely at the bottom. That fits UT ADPi very well.

So it sounds like RFM sent the quote additions to the smaller chapter which would be adpi? Because they are a bottom tier house but nteat then bottom of it. That would be AXD.
