will being a legacy for axo hurt me?

No, every house has tons of legacies - more than a full pledge class for many houses! The only situations where being a legacy can hurt your chances to pledge another house is: 1) if you have a "sitting sister" who is active in the UT chapter, 2) your mom/grandma is a major alumna and has spread the word you're pledging her house, or 3) you indicate during rush week that you prefer your legacy - to ANYONE (roommate, Rho Chi, another house, etc....you never know who talks to whom).
Remember that other houses do not have access to your party schedule.

AXO is a great house. Be careful what you put out there. Actives monitor these pages, and can figure out in many cases, who doesn't seem interested. Keep an open mind and enjoy your legacy house. I didn't pledge my legacy house but I enjoyed going in there and have many friends that are in the house. If you get a bid from any of our houses, you are blessed. Don't count out your legacy. Many girls wish they had a legacy to give them a leg up in ANY house!

You will be lucky to be an AXO. It is a great house, and it isn't mine. I am in another sorority but they are, for the most part, fun and popular.

You don't have to submit your legacy paperwork if you don't want to. Many people choose not to if the house isn't of interest to them.
