homecoming

I have a proposal - why don't we have homecoming a big thing like they have at most southern schools? A lot of schools have frats that 'go' with each their, make floats and raise a lot of money for charity on homecoming weekend - kind of like a Round Up but for fall semester. Could we end up doing this?

They tried to make homecoming a thing a few years back. OFSL even had a comittee set up. Ended up falling through because no one wanted to put in the work and greek life schedules in the fall are busy enough between parents weekends, alumni weekends, marquee build parties, etc. Furthermore, what can you do about the fact there are twice as many IFC fraternities on campus as NPC sorotrities? I know everyone likes to rag on Phi Delt/Pi Kapp/Lambda Chi for being "bottom tier" but there are another 15 or so fraternities below even them. Even if you double up fraternities no one' s gonna be happy about it.

this sounds like an awesome idea - can someone suggest it to UPC or IFC?
