Here's what you do ladies: pledge Theta at Ole Miss (an easy school to get into and an even easier sorority to pledge) then, transfer to UT. Voila!

Theta has great chapters in SEC and some really bad ones.

Theta has something like 4 top tier chapters a couple of middle tier ones then a fair number of lower tier ones. Overall Kappa is probably the strongest PKT in the SEC. While they do have some unimpressive chapters they also have about 7 or 8 top tier ones.

In the SEC, Theta is ...

Top-tier at Georgia, Kentucky, and Vandy

Mid-tier at A&M, Florida, and Mizzou

Bottom-tier at Bama, Auburn, LSU, and Ole Miss

The top sororities overall in the Big 12 are Kappa, Theta, Pi Phi, TriDelt, Chi O, Delta Gamma

is bottom tier at most Big 12 schools..but they are pretty good on the west coast and Mississippi

the Big 12 top 6 might be the same as the UT big 6.

KKG is kind of different in that they are basically strong in every major region, but all of those are among the strong sororities in top schools.

at UF, FSU, Auburn, NC, KY, and transfer, b/c kappa is the bottom tier sorority at those schools also.

Kappa is NOT bottom tier at UK! Ashley Judd was a Kappa at UK. It has not done as well w/ recent pledge classes, but it has and always be a very strong chapter!

Bless your heart. Not that UK's rankings (or your opinion) really matter, but facts are facts. Kappa has dropped from top to mid tier w/ more recent pledge classes. Since you want to act like an expert on UK for some odd reason, here ya go!

Don't count on getting into the same sorority you're presently in just by transferring. Unfortunately for transferring greeks, the absolute worst sorority at UT has better girls than the absolute best at any other school.
