So are the people who went to that party the top contenders to become PKT pledge classes next year? Sounds like everyone met lots of people and had a great time. Guess you had to have connections to be invited?

Given a bid is a lot like someone giving you a really bad haircut and your hair doesn't quite grow back the way it should. Four years of your life being fake and miserable. PKT girls don't know any better and that works for them. So if you were not invited, don't stress. You deserve better. Go through rush knowing in the end YOUR brain, beauty and personality got you the bid that fits with who you are. So while you are having four years of fun, PKT girls are stressing about finding a rich guy. LOL!

PKT have enough family money that they don't need to stress out looking for a rich guy. Every PTK that I know is very comfortable single.

Hardin is a dump! The cars parked in their OUTSIDE premium parking lot (LOL) are not that special either. So if that defines a PKT girl then that is pretty silly. NEWS ALERT! You also don't have to be PKT to live there. It is just a matter of getting your name on the list early. Don't let a party fool you. They might be selective up front but after they share all the few girls with the PKT connections they have to go back and get the worse of the worse - leftovers. So the PKT above is right when she says "don't stress about not getting invited - I know plenty of girls who didn't have a single informal rush thing before rush started and still got bids to PKT!" You might be the leftover! LOL!

You sound like a bitter, nasty person. Not becoming and makes you look jealous, frankly. Deny all you want but that is how it sounds.
Hardin is a dump. Yes, lots of different chapters have girls living there. No one lives there because it is the "nicest." Everyone does it for the friendships formed and fun had by all...or most for sure. Don't you find it ironic that all everyone does is talk about how rich and snobby those girls are but then slam Hardin because it isn't nice enough? It is ok if you want "nice".....I didn't need "nice" as a freshman.....I chose the one that I thought seemed warmer and more fun and added to my college experience. Loved it! Plenty of time to live in lovely places.
Seriously.....ALL chapters....including PKT....have nice girls, Christian girls, not nice girls, etc....

So I'm lost. Hardin is a dump but worth it because you know going into your freshmen year that everyONE is NICE! So now PKT lives in Hardin because everyONE including NON-GREEK, is NICE! Come on! A NICE PiPhi is not taking her KD friend to all the parties. Get real!
PS Why would a PKT be on Greek Rank? Maybe you are the bitter, nasty, jealous girl that missed great friendship outside the PKT box because you didn't live in SRD or the Callaway RESORT which is at least ranked top in the country for REAL COUNTRY CLUB living. So be honest, Hardin is a runned down dump that needs to be plowed down and used for a parking lot.

How are your grades? Clearly not in a difficult major because the logic is.....not there.....No idea how you went from post above you to that rant? So sad and bitter.....no one cares where you choose to live. Seriously. I am glad you loved your dorm and think it was the best. I loved mine too.....
All chapters...and all dorms too btw.... do have nice girls and not nice girls....obviously

Seriously you must know no one in PKT. As someone not in pkt but who has lots of friends in all three houses, my friends love their house and the girls I've met who are furthest from the stereotypes you are naming. Frankly most of them do work hard okay hard better than most people in Greek life and are genuinely amazing, smart, & fun girls. As for the rush events, the only difference between the lake party and any of the other events that current sorority girls invite girls they are interested in is just the location of a Fiji lake house vs a late night on campus. Not everyone at the party will be PKT, nor will everyone in their PCs be at these rush events. Don't stress about not getting invited - I know plenty of girls who didn't have a single informal rush thing before rush started and still got bids to PKT!
