recs for top houses

Should I even bother getting recs for the big 6 sororities if I'm not rich, know girls in the sororities, or know any alumnae to write me letters? Should I just stick to getting recs for mid/lower tiers like kd, adpi, and dg?

PKT is probably a waste of time. I would get them for all the other houses just in case.

I would get recs for every house you possibly can. You want to maximize your options and honestly, every year there's a pnm or threewith no connections that get bids to every Big 6 house.

some of the houses count rec letters as points while deciding the first few rounds of cuts - it may not seem important at the time but it could be what keeps you in the running vs not
