stop embarrassing your alumni! have some class!

Lol, my little sister just linked this site to me, because she's terrified of going to UT now next year due to this ridiculous site.
I find it insane that all of you care this much about something as insignificant as the sorority or fraternity you were in. In the real world, nobody cares.
My husband (FIJI) and I (Pi Phi) have successful careers in private equity now in NYC. Greek life was a wonderful part of our lives at UT, but I don't think it has ever come up for us in the real world aside from attending weddings lol and keeping up with old friends. When you "grow up" you will find that there simply isn't time for this sort of behavior and that you are valued as an individual for your accomplishments, not your letters.
Nobody cares...Those of us who actually were in the so-called top tier houses don't care. Not to mention, if you ever do leave TX, you'll find that Greek affiliations are just not a big deal outside of the South.
Please all grow up and stop embarrassing yourselves.
Pi Phi sisters & my Fiji guys (lavalier <3)... I really hope you aren't on here bullying and tearing others down. But I doubt any of you would. <3

Actually the most condescending and poorly veiled post ever. If there's one thing I can't stand, it's blatant hypocrites. Private equity in NY (wow, want a medal?), Fiji and a Pi Phi, so easy to find out who y'all are because it's a small, small world. Pi Phi, Kappa, and Theta communicate closely. You shot not only yourself, but your darling sister in the foot. Good job!
If you have any more cute retorts, name-dropping, or address-dropping to grace us with, I'll be here to roast you into an abyss...Miss Madison Avenue.

Maybe, I just was trying to think better of PKT and UT Greek Life as a whole (though maybe things were different when Mrs. Manhattan was here). I didn't think PKT sisters post here as often as some of the other chapters.
Seriously, what sort of pathetic, married adult would bother visiting this site at all? It's a tragedy if it isn't fake.
Anyway, if it is real, kudos for calling it out. I don't think anyone agrees with Mrs. Manhattan in any sorority, so she should feel like an irrelevant moron right now (and beg her poor sister for forgiveness ).

As if graduating means graduating out the pkt mentality...haha. Have you ever gone to one of those chapter mother's club meetings, you know pkt never leave pkt. It's sooo funny to listen to them
Like they never left UT.
But newsflash: good old UT PBP is taking girls from Missouri City and other mundane suburbs. Girls that were AXD material first time around and then PBP after re rushing. Same with KKG, KAT. Not quite as exclusive as they want you to believe.

PKT was stereotyped in the 70's. They have never let it all go. Society has changed but they have not. They live under a very protected rock and have a very hard time socializing with the real world. Thank God they have money. They would drown even functioning a day in the real world. KINDA SAD!

The majority of PKT are great. Same can be said for members of other sororities.
Side note: The character and success of people aren't judged by where they grow up. You sound almost as awful as OP when you say that. Bitterness & jealousy isn't a pretty trait for anyone.
