rushing as a sophomore?

What are my chances of getting into a sorority as a sophomore during fall 17 rush? I wasn't able to rush my freshman year here at UT... I know some sorority girls and I have a nice personality + great grades, if that matters!
also, what should I focus on going in to recruitment? Thanks

Most sophomores will get a bid as long as they keep an open mind.

Make sure to get all your letters of support sent and let any sorority members you are close to now know you're going to rush.

Did I mention keeping an open mind? Haha

Focus on being you and not someone else. Character and manners count. Treat others as you want to be treated, and if a sorority and their women go overboard in their recruitment efforts toward you then you can always choose not to join their home.

Honestly, it depends on your connections. There are so many kind, intelligent, and gorgeous women rushing, so it often comes down to who you know and your background.

It's definitely worth a shot though! Be yourself, and just know that everyone was nervous during rush! It will work out.
