rush as an out of state transfer?
by: Transfer
Hi! I am hoping to transfer to UT and I would love to go through rush so I can meet people and get adjusted to the school! I don't know too many people at UT other than those I met while at Camp Longhorn when I was younger. I am from out of state, so I'm a bit concerned socially.
I was wondering if you think it's worth it to rush - I only ask because it's a pretty grueling process and I'm not sure I would want to do it if houses don't really take sophomores?

I rushed as an out of state transfer as well. As long as you get your recs in time and you're able to hold a conversation you should be good. Don't be too caught up on tiers because as a transfer the main goal is to meet people, which will happen in any sorority regardless of tiers
