round up 2017

by:

What are the rules of Round Up for a highschool student. I have heard it's a good opportunity to meet rush captains and to have a good time, but Im confused on what to do. I registered on Texas IFC, does this put me on the rush lists for the parties? Would it be better if I reached out to some friends in fraternities and how should I get on the lists for fraternities I dont have connections in?

Highschool students are not allowed at roundup and no fraternity will let you into their events. It is not worth your time trying.

I know that isn't true because several seniors from my highschool go every year plus my friends at UT have told me it's ok to come

The only high school students that went to roundup back when I was a senior were students who weren't rushing, or at least not at UT.

There are other parties and it's just beyond annoying when a party hits capacity

You're not getting into any big round up. So unless you're going low tier, stay home kiddo

Don't come. You're a liability to everyone.

I've been invited to two parties with notable musicians playing on Friday and Saturday? The frats I'm talking to say high schoolers come all the time? What's the deal?

If you're under 18, stay home. If not, your friends who invited you can figure it out within their own chapters, you won't get into any other party
