The big 6 are the big six.. XO,KKG,TriDelt, Pi Phi, Theta, Zeta
They are the first choices generally.. It is what it is.. But most the sorties Hera are great and you need to understand that all the negativity is probably from non Greeks trying cause trouble.. Most sororities tell there members to ignore this sight.. It truly is inflammatory

This day and time is more of a "Heaven Seven". Pi Phi, Kappa, XO, Theta, DG, Tri Delt & AXO. Zeta is good too but has slipped for the past 2 decades.

That's true. The very top don't struggle, so it would seem Zeta is the obvious troller of insecurity here, trying prove things. I guess the fact that they are in the mid-ranked and haven't been cutting it lately, makes them want to be noticed that "We are Good". Less trying would help. I don't think there's a Big 8, or a new Big 6, but it's more like a Big 7. In no order it's more like, XO/TriDelt/KKG/DG/Theta/AXO/PiPhi. The fact that Zeta's status has disintegrated might make them more anxious to prove a point and belittle others. I'm hoping they will make an improvement and "come back".

even if UT had an "old row" this would be a terrible representation of it. The "old row" would probably be PKT then Tridelt, ChiO and Zeta. And using everyone else to refer to two sororities is pointlessly insulting.

By founding dates these are correct, but several of the UT sororities had hiatuses from campus.

UT has a very strong Greek system that is as old as the school, but we don't have new row/old row for 2 reasons IMO. First is the fact that we don't really have a row, the houses for the most part are scattered across West Campus with a few in North campus and a couple sorority houses basically on campus, but suffice it to say no row. Secondly, our Greek system has been disrupted enough in the past with a lot of what would be old row getting kicked off that it's a pointless distinction that few sororities and even fewer fraternities would fit.

Big 6: Chi-O, TriDelt, Kappa, PiPhi, Theta, Zeta
then: DG, KD, AXO, and APhi (these shift around whats better, AXO did well last rush)
then: ADPi, AXiD, yadda yadda
AEPhi is good for some
Pick what feels right for you, but around here it's big 6 and then middle and bottom

I feel like KD is more similar to ADPi and AXiD than they are to AXO, DG and APhi overall. AEPhi has its own thing like you said, and SDT is just starting formal rush next year and they aren't really similar to anyone else, definitely more eclectic and diverse which is great for some people, they just aren't really like anyone else at this point.

Except for maybe SDT, even the "bottom" sororities mostly associate with lower middle/middle tier fraternities.

Oh please. The reason a third of rushees don't get a bid is because most of them drop out when they're left with choices like KD, AXiD, Zeta, APhi etc. once the best sororities have dropped them. Don't make it sound harder than it is. If girls would keep their minds open, a lot more would receive bids and the bottom houses would be much stronger.
