hardin
by: HmmmMost of the people I know are going Hardin because it is the thing to do, their moms did it, etc. It looks fun but I have heard the food is bad and it isn't as new and nice as SRD......hich I am sure ends up fun too. I honestly can't decide. Do the girls end up just as close in both dorms? I would also love an honest answer on whether anyone cares where you live and it has any impact at all on recruitment. Thanks so much

Honestly don't listen to them^ I didn't understand the hype about Hardin and the traditional aspects of it especially being from out of state and when you are a freshman (especially a girl) Hardin is easily the best way to meet new people and it's how I've become so close with girls that aren't even in my sorority. Food is decent, has its ups and downs, but each building has at least one community kitchen and I've managed to make my own meals every day this semester. You get over the fact that it's not brand new quite quickly

Hardin isn't going to get you into a top sorority. But, it could help you make friends outside your sorority. Callaway is 100000x better though not gonna lie (boys, better food, nice amenities) if I could live in callaway again I would, but don't worry my friends in Hardin still like it even though they complain. I'm big 6 and out of state btw

If you don't already know girls who will be living in Hardin, you're not going to make any friends there. You also won't get a bid to one of the good sororities just because you live in Hardin. You already have to be one of us.
