transfer student in theta?

Is it difficult for a transfer student who is a Theta at another school to be accepted into Theta at UT? From what I've read on the discussion forum, the Greek community here sounds very elite and selective. I don't come from old money and I'm not white... does that actually matter?

theta at texas is elite but they've affiliated some quesionable girls and rushed them as well, so there's room for some non elite girls @ UT theta.
