sorority tiers

by: Honesty

Let's be honest, nobody who got a PKT bid is going zeta, xo, or tri delt. Yes those are decent houses but not nearly as exclusive. The girls in PKT are just a little more elite all around. Sure the others might have a decent PC here and there some years but it's not as exclusive and good.

I'm in a big six, and not pkt. Just stating facts ladies

All good sororities include TriDelt, XO, Theta, Zeta, AXO, Pi Phi, Kappa, maybe either DG/Aphi.

Thats why Pi Phi and Kappa have given out snap bids the last two years

Happen because the top three want the same 150-200 girls but that won't fill pledge classes so it is a numbers game to keep enough around in case you don't have as good a rush or even pref night as the other two and end up with too many of your top picks going elsewhere. doesn't mean any of them aren't highly desired.....they just dropped too many girls outside those top 150 who loved another chapter better. Top post is accurate. Anyone given a choice is going PKT if they caN

Haha PKT isn't more elite than Chi O/Tri Delt/Zeta when it comes to looks, especially Zeta

These rankings have been and will be the same forever.

Aside from very few chapters with long term, steady improvement (aphi) or regression (dg, adpi), nothing's changing at UT.

Such an interesting point on APhi DG and ADPi.. my theory is there more room for change out side the gig six and there is a cycle. Aphi has really improved.

I thought that too but I was shocked this fall when P took a sophomore suburb girl that isn't what I would call elite or classy. I didn't expect her to make top 6 at all....let alone Pi Phi.

Lol "suburb girl"

Listen honey bun, there's probably a good reason they picked her over you. Snap bids aside...I'm just saying. If a sophomore makes it in, chances are they had other things going for them well beyond zip code.

What are "suburban-types"? Texas has some pretty nice suburbs. Also, you can sneer at UNT after you win 9 Grammys (Nora Jones) or an Academy Award (Larry McMurtry).

are we talking about Univ of N Texas? formally North Texas State University? Yeah, it's an afterthought school. for kids who can't get into major universities, are afraid to leave the greater metroplex area or would get lost in a larger school. No freaking smart kid is going to UNT.

Obviously the anti-suburb, anti-East TX, anti-UNT, anti-everything person is mad because PKT rejected such a cheerful, positive person such as herself.

things have changed PKT really isn't a thing??? I feel like there are some sororities who take the place of some of those but still we're all great so what does it even matter
