what's the deal with phi psi?
by: UT 2020I'm an out of state freshman, and I was considering rushing during the spring. The only two frats I would really consider for spring rush would be Delt and Phi Psi, but it seems like Phi Psi has a pretty bad rep for being the frat for weid guys with money. I've only seen two Phi Psi's in one of my classes and they didn't seem weird, if anything they seemed kinda chill, but everyone in this website seems to say otherwise. Anyone care to ellaborate? Like is ot just the older guys that are weird? It'd be such a waste of that new house.

This is sad. Having to use Greek rank for rush even with your massive house being built. Just know any rushees, you'll have a nice house, but for atleast 4 more years you will be in a fraternity generally regarded as weird, creepy, and unpopular, with no history at UT. They got under a 20 man PC this year even with the house on the way. They got lucky with one wealthy alumni paying for the whole house who apparently wishes he could back out of it now. Dues will increase substantially for a sub par Greek life experience. look to better houses like ATO and Pike instead.
