is phidelt getting shut down?

I am rushing phidelt bc one of my acquaintance's brother is the president, so why not. Anyway, I actually met couple guys who I connected well so I liked it, until I kept hearing these rumors that PhiDelt will be shut down,and they already lost one of the houses.

Can anyone clarify on this? Thank you

Phi Delt sold their chapter house because of the size of the location. They're not getting kicked off or anything. Their nationals are fundraising one of the largest housing campaigns for the Texas Beta chapter. So in a year or two, they'll have a completely new house (instead of a party house and chapter house)

and because Phi Delt has a dry housing policy, they'll just have a dry house and no party house.

The only thing that has to be dry is the chapter room. As with most Phi Delt chapters, the rest of the house will be wet except the chapter area.

It's true, heard from numerous sources that Phi Delt is getting shut down by their nationals. Also, that housing campaign is false, they simply couldn't afford funding their current house(s)

No, Phi Delt is not getting shut down. Posting a fake question on greekrank and posting on it daily trying to start rumors isn't going to convince anyone either. Phi Delt is a decent mid tier frat with strong alumni. Stop ruining a page meant for rushees and people interested in greek life with fake rumors.

I had zero intent of doing that. Im seriously just a curious rushee, wnating to know if the rumor is somewhat true. I would love to join PhiDelt, but if it is getting shut down, I don't want to waste my money and time. Im just doing research
