they do get most of the cheer/pom girls but outside of that, they are not exclusive. They take any transfer that was a Zeta at sub standard chapters and lower level schools, so that has had an impact. Many girls still rush them but more and more are choosing APhi and AXO instead.

there are quality, gorgeous, well-rounded girls in every sorority! some may be more suitable for others. rankings don't matter after you graduate from UT.

for sure, ChiO, DDD and Zeta are swapping w APhi and AXO now. Alamo Heights, St Agnes, Highland Park, Vandegrift & Memorial girls are in all of them. You have high school friends and UT roomies splitting up or staying together, going to all of those sororities. You also have girls who had no decent choices left as freshman going ChiO, DDD and Zeta as sophmores. Add to that, all of the sub par Zetas that UT Zeta allows to affiliate and you now have a levelling out between bottom of Big 6 and top of the middle. Much less difference between them now, except for Zeta, which remains cheer/pom oriented.

Do the PKT piggies hear themselves when they speak? That is legitimately embarrassing to say.

I mean personally, I chose Zeta over Theta on pref and that was the best decision I could've ever made sooooo.....

So sick of the assumption that if you disagree that PKT are tops then "they must have cut you." Whether or not you were cut by them doesn't mean that you wanted them. If the worst house cuts you, does that make them the best? It could just mean that you didn't fit into their creepy, inbred mold-and thank God for that!

Plus, what about all the people that cut them? Many (most?) girls don't want to be associated with unattractive, socially awkward girls-which is exactly what they are.

For those of you who are stereotyping every PKT girl as stuck up or simply apart of our sorority because of where we went to high school, where we grew up and how much money our family has - please get over yourself.

Most girls in my PC and also in the other house in PKT do not fit into the stereotype you are trying to make true. In fact, I chose the house I did because of the sweet genuine personalities of the girls I talked to and overall attitude I felt going through rush. Does it mean that I consider my house a top house? Absolutely, but so does every other girl at UT because sororities at UT would be the top house at most other schools. There are girls you are describing as 'PKT piggies' that are sprinkled throughout the Greek system but from the many girls I've met, most girls who feel that way didn't make it into my PC or the other houses in PKT.

Before you generalize us all, please take a chance to know us and make friends with us before saying we are all stuck up, inbred or snotty!! There are always a few bad apples but 99% of the time you'll get someone great.
