Very disappointed. My sweet daughter recently went to her very first fraternity mixer with SigEp. After initially being excited, as she was told by these boys about their strong involvement in Young Life, summer camps, and other Christian organizations, she was forced to participate in a "chain and chug", where she was chained to her date and forced to quickly consume unhealthy amounts of alcohol.

Here’s the deal. Lots of people get way too drunk from chain and chugs. But nobody is FORCED to participate. You can easily say no. It’s just that there may be some social pressure or a freshman thinks they can drink more than they actually can, leading them to blacking out or puking. But nobody is forced to do this. And even if a girl participates, she can lightly sip on the alcohol and rely on the boy she is chained to to do all the work.

Sorry concerned Mom, but your problem should be with the older sorority sisters that traded off your young daughter into this fake forced marriage charade (mut’ah) for their own personal short term reputation gain.
