Delusions of grandeur. You have far fewer Greeks than SEC schools-which are much smaller btw. And none of them auto admit kids with a 16 ACT score just because they're at the top of their high school class in some po-dunk town. Believe me, your liberal, GDI, oversized school and it's sad little Greek system is a joke among the private schools.

There are minimum requirements on test scores for all freshmen regardless of top 7%. Additionally, if you rank public and private schools starting with Harvard going on all the way down, Texas is ranked. much higher then the likes of TCU and Baylor, not to mention we have a lower acceptance ratio which is very telling. When your little schools get excepted to the prestigious AAU, then maybe we can talk. Finally, go get some real houses before you talk about a great Greek life.

Connections really are a thing.......an awful lot of people get their first jobs because of who they know verses what their grades or activities are. So it makes sense that knowing a lot of social, very well off people is.....helpful....

At UT we have more total Greeks, West campus area is amazing, smarter kids within our Greek system and basically brighter futures. Face the facts.
