transfer affiliation

what is sorority transfer affiliation? I'm in a house at my current school and I am transferring to UT. What does affiliation mean?

affiliation is uncommon because top sororities don't want to let in girls who don't fit their image. If they wouldn't have picked you during rush they won't affiliate you.

That is to say IF you don't fit in with the chapter. If you are from a top chapter going to a top chapter you will be fine. If you are going to bigger chapter that your former chapter they don't want any outcasts and will not let you in. Not even if you have the rich and pretty look. If you don't fit it, you don't fit in. Don't take it personally, they are just doing what is best for their chapter.
