cowboys and spurs

History and status, mostly. They're considered the most exclusive and coveted clubs for men at UT, and both have long traditions with the university and very successful alumni. Added bonus that the status associated with it makes it so you can have your pick of any sorority girl on campus who will be happy to be associated with you. I've even seen girls put Cowboy Sweetheart on their professional resumes. Getting in is another issue entirely though, it's basically nepotism for the chapters represented. Good luck getting in if you don't have a member of your fraternity already in who can vouch for you.
